Cocktails & Cuisine Event: A Tribute to Wisconsin!

The J. Carver Distillery expansion into the great state of Wisconsin is making us proud, and we want to celebrate with J Carver fans who have a soft spot in their heart for the Badger State. If you're not from Wisconsin but just have a hankering for classic Wisconsin supper club cuisine, we want you at this event too! Get your Packer vs Vikings weekend started early with this fun throwback event on Thursday evening, October 12th! Tickets for the dinner are $28. Craft cocktails and mocktails will be available for purchase.

In most places, the classic supper club is a dying breed; in Wisconsin it's an art form where these generations-old establishments serve as essential social centers and places of connection between generations. The food is satisfying and delicious without being pretentious, the cocktails are classics that have stood the test of time. 

To honor that fine tradition, on October 12th the J Carver team will be crafting Wisconsin supper club classics: Apple Brandy Old Fashioneds, Tom Collins, Whiskey Sours, Harvey Wallbangers, and some killer Bloody Marys.  Chef Lucas Balweber of Arcane Kitchen has created a culinary tribute to Wisconsin's heartland classics, including the Pickle & Relish Tray (of course!), Roasted Pork with Apple Demi Glace, Wisconsin Cheese Potato Gratin, a Roasted Vegetable Succotash of squash, corn, peppers, and onions, Rolls and Butter, and Turtle Brownies. 

We have some surprise treats up our sleeves for all our guests on this special evening, and anyone dressed in Wisconsin tribute wear  (jerseys, hunting gear, get creative) will receive $5 off select bottles of J.
