It’s time for a classic! A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith is a cherished American novel that describes the life of a young girl growing up in an impoverished family in Brooklyn in the first two decades of the 20th century. If you haven’t read it, it’s time, and if you have, it’s time to refresh your memory. Let’s get together and discuss just what it is that makes this story the favorite of so many people. Your registration fee will also provide you with a themed welcome cocktail (along with a guided demonstration for making it), a selection of appetizers, our friendly J Carver staff waiting to serve, and various small surprises. Doors open at 6:30, cocktails will be available to purchase.
Tickets are $20.00, available only online, and are limited to the first 55 registrants.
